My name is Greg Neale and I am a chartered architect (member of the Royal Institute of British Architects) with over thirty years experience of working as a designer and project manager. In latter years I have specialised in high end residential refurbishment and extensions and become expert in basement and swimming pool design. I have a wealth of knowledge in working with historic buildings, often listed. I have also become involved in garden design, which is something I want to develop.
I have now set up my home based practice in Lewisham and am continuing my involvement in residential design, perhaps on a more modest level. I am looking forward to developing a client base in Lewisham and surrounding Boroughs, dealing in home extensions and refurbishments and also garden design. I also am happy to design new build houses and small commercial schemes. I would consider working in Central London or Kent.

In the first instance I am interested in doing architectural scheme design and gaining planning permission. I have particular skill in working with listed buildings or those in conservation areas, which can often prove tricky. I can work in an historic or modern style.
I can also prepare drawings for building control approval. These can also be used for pricing by builders.
If required I can also administer a building contract with regular site inspections.

I am also interested in residential garden design and managing the installation of both hard landscaping and planting (and physically executing the latter).
I am particularly interested in garden refurbishment, where an existing layout has been neglected and needs careful conservation and replenishing. I would offer a full package of specification and installation.
